These are the 8 best places to eat if you’re in Denver, Colorado! I ate my way through Denver with my partner in crime Dana who joined me on this work trip to the mountain-city. I was thoroughly surprised that I was so satisfied after each meal.

Breakfast on Broadway

This adorable brunch spot was an alternative to the famous Sam’s No 3. Still busy, but at least the line wasn’t 2 hours long. Bottomless mimosas were generously refilled and I was in heaven. With my eggs and incredible hash browns.

The Corner Office

I had a quick breakfast there before heading off to work. The crowd was a bit corporate, but the food was pretty delicious. I got the eggs Benedict (surprise surprise) and tried a bit of Dana’s dish too. If you want a bit of luxury, this is the place to stop.

Get Breakfast in Bed in the Kimpton Monaco Hotel

Working from bed in Denver was definitely a treat. I ordered room service which you can read about in my full review of the Kimpton Monaco Hotel.

Kitchen Table BBQ

Possibly the best BBQ I’ve had in a while was at Kitchen Table BBQ. The menus scribbled on a sheet of paper made it feel pretty divey. We thankfully were able to order the last combo available. The music was great and they had a Karaoke open mic that night. The vibes were on point and the BBQ was spicy.

Santiago’s Mexican

I got a huge taco plate and was full for hours. The restaurant itself wasn’t extremely fancy but was a good first stop after my flight in to the city. It was a reminder of how close the state is to Mexico and it’s cultural ties to Colorado. I left full of refried beans and ready to visit again. I recommend going there if you want quick and cheap eats that are also delicious. You can check out their menu here.

Get Dessert at Union Station

I had a delicious cinnamon pastry while I was at Union Station. There were so many spots to visit in the historical train stop including the cutest ice cream parlour. A lot of people just hung out in the station or took a swing through. It was so aesthetic!

Eat at Next Door in Union Station

I enjoyed the Ancho Chile Chicken which was was a simple salad. Filled with black beans, fresh pico de gallo and corn. But what was really great about Next Door was the atmosphere. Even the bathroom was cute! I recommend stopping by if you get hungry during your strolls and happen to be in Union station.

Eat at Panzano

My full review of the upscale restaurant is here! I definitely recommend you finish off your meal with the chocolate dessert I had!

What was your favourite dish from this piece? I honestly can’t choose.I wasn’t expecting to eat such delicious eats in Denver. If you love to eat, you’ll have a good time there.
