KOST at the Bisha Hotel Review

The Toronto Entertainment District has many surprises and KOST is one of them. I had been to the restaurant before for lunch (you need to try the burger). And the bar for a little nightcap with a friend.  One morning, however, I wanted something different. I rallied my girl Bryanna and we brunched at Kost.

Baja Peninsula and coastal theme of the restaurant was definitely felt. From the decor to the options on the menu I felt like I was in an episode of The O.C.

I almost couldn't decide on what to eat. I was gunning for the coconut pancakes, but I had work to do that morning and didn't want to fall asleep.

Bisha Hotel Kost Breakfast

I went for the KOST Breakfast because I was super hungry. The green chorizo was the highlight of my dish. First of all the colouring stood out and aesthetically balanced the plate. My bacon was a little crispier than I would have preferred. But the crispiness was a good contrast from the rest of the plate. I also liked the little tortilla instead of toast.

Bryanna ordered the Ranchero Bowl which also looked delicious. I the black beans and peppers with that kale was a healthy choice for the morning. I wasn't about that day.

If you're looking for a spot that has unique breakfast options (and a few healthy ones) be sure to visit KOST. It was a great spot for getting some morning work done (the wifi was pretty fast). The atmosphere brought the ease of the west coast to the bustle of Toronto. From the 44th floor, we had the perfect view of the C.N. Tower as we ate our breakfast.

Have you visited and eaten at the Bisha Hotel? If not, would you? Let me know in the comments below.
